Lost and Found

We have many items that have been left behind in our classroom including hats, gloves, DeSales sweaters and PE sweatshirts.  If you are missing items please let me know.  I will be sending everything down to the main lost and found at the end of the week!

PARP

We kicked off PARP today with "PARPcorn".  We also watched The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter.  We are preparing for our visit with Gretchen Murray Sepik on March 9th.  Ms. Sepik is a storyteller who will perform as Beatrix Potter for our students.  Her request was for us to familiarize the students with "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" but we will also enjoy other stories of Beatrix Potter in our class this month.

Reading logs came home this past Friday.  Please log story titles and time read with your child to earn a Darien Lake ticket.  This will be the final month for our Book-It Program through Pizza Hut.  The same titles may also be used for that reading program too.  Also, please don't forget our monthly book report.  Just a friendly reminder: the monthly book report is not an optional activity, a grade is given!

Other PARP related activities this month include:  Family Reading Night - Thursday, March 15th.  Come and join me along with some other familiar faces for fun reading activities!
